Warm Weather and Cool Beaches

G'Day,




This week was the hottest week in Sydney history and I was here for it. The average temperature in the summer is upper 70s to low 80s which is very mild compared to what I experienced this week. Everyday this week was over 90 degrees and Saturday was a scorcher. 


This weekend we stayed in Sydney and baked in the warm sun on the beach. Friday we went back to Bondi Beach for a bit and rode some waves. Saturday we were supposed to have a beach volleyball tournament but it was 113 degrees outside so we did not play. The sand was 136 degrees. It was so hot you had to literally run to the water to prevent your feet from burning. 



The beach we went to was called Coogee beach and was the coolest beach I have been to yet. They had a little cove that we all swam it. It was a rock bottom and had rocks that we jumped off into the water. Check how blue the water is in these pictures:
